Unlock Your Thyroid’s Superpowers with Vitalizing Nutrients

Place your hand gently on the front of your neck and feel your thyroid gland. It literally sits at the seat of your metabolism. And it is also where your throat chakra is, which in Sanskrit is one of the seven chakras called Vishuddha, or “purification”.

Vishudda

This chakra is represented by the color blue and the characteristics represented by this chakra are:

  • Loyalty
  • Honesty
  • Truth
  • trust
  • and good communication.

How you absorb and assimilate what you receive from the outside world, and then communicate it out into the world is represented by the throat chakra. When energy is flowing in a healthy direction, this allows you to be open to listening to other people’s point of view, to communicate your own point of view with confidence, and to take responsibility for what you do in your life. Your throat chakra’s placement high in your body reveals its importance to overall health. It sits at the helm of your metabolism.

The Thyroid Gland

The thyroid gland, which is an integral part of the hormonal system, is another topic I’m passionate about because its function helps to keep us balanced. Simply put, when the thyroid is sluggish, everything is sluggish. There are so many powerful yet simple ways we can support the thyroid, which supports the entire hormonal system.

In fact every cell has a receptor for the thyroid hormone, as it works to rev up the mitochondrial engine of each and every cell.

Low Thyroid Function

There’s also an epidemic today when it comes to low thyroid function. Autoimmunity of the thyroid gland takes center stage as the most common form of thyroid dysfunction.

When there is autoimmunity in the body, an organ or gland is being attacked by the immune system. The immune system, has lost its tolerance to our bodies cells, as well as foods and substances that a person used to tolerate.

Autoimmunity

When autoimmunity is present, even before a diagnosis there are often unexplained symptoms like:

  • Swelling
  • joint pain
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Fatigue
  • brain fog
  • infertility
  • and skin issues.

These can be the signs of early stages of an autoimmune condition, and there are things you can do to calm the triggers.
