Power-up your Self Care with Ayurvedic Intermittent Fasting

My guess is that by now you’ve tried intermittent fasting, or you know someone who has. And perhaps you’ve personally felt the health benefits, or seen people transform their health as a result.

Find the approach that works best for you

scale

However, it’s not one size fits all, and hopefully that feels like a relief to hear. It’s easy to be overwhelmed at the prospect of fasting. So it’s important to keep in mind that there are many versions of intermittent fasting and finding the one that works for you can provide tremendous health benefits.

For instance, sometimes I see people wait way too long to eat, which stresses their hormonal system and can trigger intense sugar cravings that they just can’t ignore. They put so much effort into success with a method that isn’t always right for their needs.

Experience real change

Even though I’m a big fan of starting off the day with a good breakfast (I’m the author of The Breakfast Report), I personally think that intermittent fasting can be used as a very effective tool! I’ve seen incredible weight loss results–it’s a common method now that people use to lose weight fast–and I’ve experienced the “reset” it has on hunger and blood sugar balance.

Wherever you are on the “intermittent fasting spectrum” I invite you to listen to my Vitality Session Trailer and learn about Intermittent Fasting through the Ayurvedic lens

Your unique health concerns

In this short video, I share the Ayurvedic perspective on Intermittent Fasting, and how you can make it work for you, so it fits into your life and unique constitution, rather than putting yourself into a restrictive box!

The Ayurvedic system

Because Ayurveda is an ancient, whole-body approach to health that includes a focus on stress and imbalances, it continues to offer important perspectives on our modern lives and ideas about health. It’s an amazing way to empower yourself with individualized self care.
